How Diezani Trying To Run Away From Buhari’s Probe

Alhaji Balarabe Musa, ex-governor of Kaduna
state, has named the reasons which forced ex-
minister of petroleum run to the United Kingdom
(UK) where she said to be receiving treatment for
an undisclosed disease.
Northern elder statesman has said that the fear
of being investigated by President Muhammadu
Buhari is the real reason behind sudden illness of
former minister.

He wondered why Diezani never took ill during her
tenure as minister but suddenly became seriously
ill after the failure of ex-president Goodluck
Jonathan during the 2015 polls and the firmness
of his successor to probe and return all looted
funds.
Musa said: “How come she suddenly took ill when
Buhari took over as president? She is trying to run
away from justice but I strongly believe that she
can’t evade it. Justice will definitely catch up with
her, because right now, countries like the United
States and the United Kingdom have promised the
government of Nigeria that they will help us recover
our stolen money stashed in their country”.
The former governor showed optimism that there
is no way for Alison-Madueke to escape the law if
found guilty, with the assurance given by the US,
UK and other countries to assist Nigeria in
recovering her stolen money.
“If they are honest and sincere about doing that, it
means it will make it easy for the federal
government to get her back into the country to face
justice”.

“They can’t say they will help Nigeria to recover
stolen money but at the same time they will habour
the suspects in their country or refuse to assist the
federal government in bringing them to Nigeria to
face justice,” he noted.
It would be recalled that controversial minister
was seeking the audience of President Buhari
, when she booked herself on the same flight of a
British Airways to London before the inauguration
of new Nigerian leader on May 29.
The family of Diezani just recently has appealed
to Nigerians to stop the critics on the address of
ex-minister as Alison-Madueke is seriously ill.
