Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Mendes:
pretty damn good buddies
In the world of Cristiano Ronaldo , everything is
BIG.
Big goals, big trophies, big love for his six-pack …
it's all BIG.
So when his agent - the ludicrously well-
connected Jorge Mendes - asked him to be best
man at his wedding , Ronnie obviously wanted to
mark the occasion with an appropriately big gift.
Given that Mendes, the Portuguese 'superagent',
is reportedly worth €100m, Ronaldo was clearly
not going to get him a toaster or a new roasting
dish.
But even so, CR7 may have overdone it slightly.
The Spanish press are reporting that his gift to
Mendes was…
A Greek island.
Yes, A WHOLE GREEK ISLAND.

A random desert island, rather than the exact one
Ronaldo reportedly bought - but you get the idea
Sounds mental, doesn't it? A bit of research
suggests a few different Greek islands are
currently up for sale, with some available at the
bargain price of €3m.
We're assuming Cristiano went for something like
that, rather than the whole of Corfu.
But whichever beautiful Greek paradise he's given
to his Mr 15%, we know what we'd be thinking if
we were Mendes.
"What the hell am I going to get him when he
gets married?"
