The day Chancha fell .Akinyemi Ogidan.ANA-AAUA

The day Chamcha fell

Chamcha was already here!
As my irises bathed on gloried vacant.
Emeralds melt and glum overshadowing.
I am in transience
Oh lord of host why have I ascended here?
In emerald terrace captured in steel horizon
In this visionary, the Scribe had drawn me into
For purpose
For forfeiture of salient unnecessary of this worldly terrace.

Chamcha! Chamcha!
Loud and indefinite
Yet commandeering and non-comradeship
And cold cascades of shiver was all the intimacy I felt
Why!
Why!
The ground shakes with laughter
Molten magma danced inside non-glorified Mordor.
Hence, all what’s been dreaded.
What has not been foretold, the disciples had rebelled
They had rebelled!
Was loud deafening melancholy
That thundered across the skyline
And comet of shadows are falling
Chamcha is falling!
Head forward with smile on his faces
Once pure of gold.
Their glory had caught fire of heat, thus golden.

Oh! Oh! Lord of hosts
Was the silence that escaped my weary persona.
And I was falling with him
And all around me, the disciples are falling
Falling
Falling
Into the paradise
That once was haven.
